Hi everyone.
I would like to ask, how much points total i will get, and for which stats during the game? Don't count the perk, only characters, quests, items, etc.
Thanks.

I think there is only one MAYBE two quests in the whole game that can give you a permanent increase in a S.P.E.C.I.A.L. attribute. The Those! quest give one or the other to Strength or Perception

Edit: Typo

Yeah, that's where i got +1 to perception.

Ummm, any other quests or items, or "special things", or something like that, that could give me more S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats? I'm looking into keeping the stats maxed, so i should know, which ones to up, and how much to up. ;)

Thanks!

Hmmm... So basically, i f' up my perception, by upping it to 10 now. -.-
Ummm, is there any way to decrease one preception and change it to another skill?

Also, is there any other quests related to those stats?

Its a perk but when you reach level 30. There is a perk called "almost perfect." It raises all your SPECIAL to 9. Be warned!!! If you get the bobble-heads before this perk. Then they won't be raised to 10. But if you get the perk first and then the bobble-heads. They can be raised to 10. :)

Hmmm. Okay, so basically, it is not wort taking intense training perk, and upping your stats, just take that and be happy, right?

Also, i would like to ask about other quests, if there are any, if someone knows. Just to keep the question, for those - who reads the last reply.

Also a question: If i play normal Fallout 3, then complete it, i won't be able to get that perk... So anyway, if i play the vanilla, and if i want to play the addons, after i complete vanilla, i won't need to create another character, i'll have to just activate the addons and load from the last save basically. And all my perks and stats will be left, as they were (for example intense training). Am i right about this?

Thank you for answers. ;)

Okay... So +1 to per/str and +1 to endurance.
Then +1 from all dollies...
And all stats are reset to 9 at level 30, if you choose the perk.
Now, if my calculations are right: you start with 35 points. You need 35 more points to max out the stats, so... 35 - (7 + 2 + 10) = 16... Which means, it's best not to take that perk during the gameplay, because of the maxed stats at level 30.
Okay, ima create a different thread for another question..

If there are other ways to get points - please keep up the thread. ;) Thanks!

Um, http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Barkskin.

Spoiler
The Fallout 3 Official Game Guide gives this perk's benefit as being +1 Endurance and +10 Damage Resistance. This information was based on an early build of the game, and does not reflect the final version of the perk in the released Fallout 3. The final version of this perk only gives +5 Damage Resistance.

Eh, no. The stats you have at 10 will stay at 10 if you take Almost Perfect

But really, there's no point upping the stats to 10, if you can get them all to 9 and then just take the dollies... You can take more useful perks instead.

Well if you have one or two stats at 9 already then you can take the bobble heads (Which technically are figurines, not dolls BTW)

by the way it is worth taking the intense training perk early on when the perks are rubbish so u can get access to some of the perks that require stats to be at a several lv .
