For discussion and w.i.p projects. Helps to unclutter the general section?

My hunch is that it will go live shortly before the GECK is released.

I understand, but given how fast the general section gets steamrolled, it maybe makes sense to enable the forum now, for people wanting to discuss mod ideas etc.

has bethesda already given a release date for GECK?

I agree we need a mods subforum.. im dying to know about FO4Edit, some way of unpacking the resource archives, etc.. sooo much going to be happening in the coming days and weeks. very exciting

(btw i opened fallout4.esm in tes5edit and it threw a few errors and not all of the records branches were displaying properly, but was able to see the record structure for many of the branches)

In other words, probably February, maybe the second or third week into January at the earliest. Right now they're probably doing Game Jam (which will likely be kept behind closed doors this time) while some are engaged with "bug squashing" and DLC pre-production.

As for a mod subforum, that might not go live for another few days to a week or even a couple of months. Not unless they're planning to wait until the Creation Kit (GECK?) is released, but I don't know if they waited that long last time.
