what happens to stuff in a container if you scrap it?

topic title says it all.

does it get added to the scrap value or just disappear?

It gets stored in your workbench. If you go over to any bench (cooking, armor, etc) and hit square it'll bring up a menu with all your [censored]

yeah Piff is correct.

when you scrap something that contains something else, youll get a brief message onscreen that says the contents were sent the workbench.

good stuff.

i wonder if that means you can bypass having to pick locks on safes etc, and just scrap the safe to get the goodies?
