I usually dont post in forums but this realy bothers me. Ive been playing games for quite some time now and since the early betas of cs, quake & co about 20 years ago my friends and i did it on numpad. A controller is not cryptonite for me (i actually have one and use it for some games like Dark Souls) but i just cant play first person games with it espeacialy when they have shotermechanics. Back then it was quite standard beeing able to remap your keys. Letting those days of non thirdpartysoftware protected games, a lot of piracy, lanparties and stuff behind me it leaves a very bad taste in my mouth that i cant change the bindings which seem to be made at least with consoles in mind, after buying the game and installing it via steam into an ordnerstructure i cant alter. Trying around with autohotkey atm, but if i cant get it to work i wont play it.
a sad customer
the only proper way to play right now is to use the default key setup *and* with a keyboard set in qwerty.
because for some reasons the keyboard doesnt work in azerty in the construction mode.
Seriously, i dont even understand how this can be possible in 2015
This is a major embarrassment for Bethesda. It's almost as it they meant for the interface to be crippled. They just drained the enjoyment from a title I've been awaiting for a long time. I really hope they address this soon.
