Im trying to understand the sneaking mechanic.

Hidden=Hidden
Caution=?
Danger=Im seen?

Is there only the three changes? Wish they implemented something similar to the eye in Skyrim. Is there a manual online on steam that explains this stuff better? I was underneath some raiders and was At Danger but I never got shot at so Im not sure if its ad black and white as I think it is.

Caution= enemies know something is in area and is searching. You will still get sneak attack bonus.

Danger is one or more enemies has detected you.

It is exactly like the Eye System in Skyrim, only in words. Closed Eye = Hidden. Half-open Eye = Caution. Open Eye = Danger.

Hidden = The enemies don't know you are there.

Caution = The enemies are looking for you.

Danger = The enemies know where you are.

Look at the brackets. When they get closer to each other, it means you're getting detected (similar to the eye opening in Skyrim). If they are far away, means you're well hidden.

if the brackets of the text get closer together youre in danger of moving to the "next worse phase"

I hadnt noticed the brackets moving closer. I also like the comparison to the eye to better grasp it. I will mess around with it tonight and watch for the brackets to move before changes in the status. Thanks everyone. If anyones noticed any more quirks or finer points feel free to share them.
