Too funny. Just so happens I don't have an oppressive workload today, so here I'm holed up in my office waiting to get out of here.
I've done a great job of avoiding spoilers thus far, and I'm so glad I did. It's a thing of beauty to start up a fresh game with a huge world to explore and no preconceived ideas.

I salute you all.
Really, I'm not all that disappointed to be working today. I actually find games more enjoyable when played in 2-3 hour chunks as opposed to putting in marathon 8-12 hour sessions. It keeps the desire up and the game fresh for longer.
To be fair, I'm not sure if I honestly feel this way, or if I'm trying to convince myself of it to maintain my sanity today.
Dr. Pete Hines put out a sick note for everyone to use, so, I guess that's official enough to take the day off.

Non-spoiler topics on release day?
Forget it
Stay away from steam and you should be ok. And yeah, i am at work already planning what to do on my next run.
My team lead heard the launch date before I did and wasted no time in putting in for vacation. Then she had the gall to gloat about it.
I don't get out of work until 6 am Wednesday morning.
:sigh:
