Dogmeat got lost. Is there a way to find him?

If you are on a pc you can use the console to recall anyone. Go to an earlier save where you have Dogmeat. Open the console ~ click on Dogmeat (make sure you are close to him). Get his ID and write it down. Go to the recent save where you want to recall Dogmeat and open the console.

PRID [the id] hit enter. That sets the correct reference.

Dogmeat should appear.

If you are on a console you will need to get a pc .

He found me. I fast traveled and he appeared beside me.

I sent mine to sanctuary, can't find him or piper anywhere there.
