As topic says. I feel rather stupid while I try and figure out how the fragmentation mines work, they can't be used like grenades and when I simply drop them from my inventory they aren't armed.

What platform? if consoles then you use R1 and hold it down on ps4, and I think its same for x1. But you need to equip it first like a frag.

Heh, yea just realized the worked like the frag grenades.. Just seems like I have to push alt slightly longer

Yeah, they are a life saver, especially for me.

I've used them both plenty, especially grenades. Mines are good for those tough enemies that endlessly charge at you like a Yao Guai. Toss a couple of mines behind you and they won't know any better than to run straight into it. Grenades obviously for enemies behind a covered position or in groups. I've been able to pull off a lot of crazy stunts with grenades bouncing them off walls.
