Every time I exit the cryogenic chamber it crashes, it seems like the game is carrying on as I can hear the sirens and hear him breathing and see the water dripping off the ceiling I just cannot move or do anything, any ideas on a fix so far Ive watched my wife get shot and son stolen 20 times I'm beginning to get depressed.

Did you reload from a save, or are you fully restarting from the beginning?

If the former, try the latter.

If that still doesn't work, maybe try reinstalling the game.

That's odd. It should only freeze after the cryogenic pod closes.

I had the same problem last night. Exited the chamber, fell to the ground and when I stood up, but just before the Quest started (the green text appeared on the screen), the game froze and I couldn't use my mouse or keyboard.

I restarted (completely exited the game and started again) and it was fine.
