Hello everyone, i have a problem :

When i load my saves ( or the auto save ) my game return on the dekstop during the loading. Without message of error ....

My oldest save work, but it's at the beginning in the shelter and i have 53 hours on my others saves ..... .

I need help !

I try to uninstall my mod, not work....

I try to uninstall and install the graphic driver, but not work ....

I try to launch the game on windows mode, but not work ....

My save bug ...

This issue has been reported many times and a lot of people share your fate. All we know is that they are looking into it. So pray that it gets fixed in a future update.

What saves are corrupt? QUick and autosaves? How many manual saves do you have?

Yes Jasper, quick and autosaves, i have 4 saves which do not work.

They don't tell me they are corrupt, i just have a return to dekstop when i load them.

I hope that will be adjusted in the future patch. I can't play for the moment ....

Yes all too common ranging back as far as Oblivion.

Unfortunately this is a reality for some people on these games.

It is also why you can't rely on quicksave and autosave for 53 hours of game play. You must make new manual saves.

Corruption happens. Not even the games fault everytime either. It just good practice anyway.

svcks to lose that much gametime. Hopefully they can help with it, You might contact official venues and report it.

If i need to begin a new save .... I am not going to replay this game before long time ....

Im not condemning or judging. Wasn't blaming or anything. Just is what it is unfortunately.

I post that for others who have a similar problem or in case you are going to play again for the future.

They need a better method to prevent this stuff.

Just to chime in it is true that you should be making manual saves. Ideally fresh ones that don't overwrite old ones. Also don't have too many saves. Clean out old ones.

You may not have known, and it isn't a wide enough issues to be "common knowledge", but it is something people with years of experience in this community understand.

Is the cloud enabled for FO4?

I don't know, i install the game again now, my last hope. I kept the folder of the saves.

Why ?

I dont remember if it is by default. Goto library and right click FO4. Select properties and go to the updates tab.

It's all the way at the bottom Steam CLoud. Is the box checked? Is there data stored?

I tell you this tommorow, my download is finish in 8 hours ...

But the cloud can't repair my save, no ?

Your saves are backed up to the cloud. THat's if it is enabled. You can disable it globally and per game. Just something you could try. You just rename the saves folder and Steam should restore the saves folder it has backed up.
