Hi, I was playing fine Fallout 4 and suddenly I stopped hearing the NPC voices but I can listen all other audio. I tried the "oficial" solution:

but for me, DON'T work!!! I was playing before with Razer Surround and I COULD hear the NPC voices, please don't tell me that this is a problem with my sound configuration because at the begining I COULD hear the NPC voices until suddenly the game decided not let me hear the NPC voices.

Please, fix it! I have played 8h and can't ask a refund on Steam.

Did you add any mods to your game?

You could have a corrupt file. Try deleting or renaming the Fallout4 - Voices.ba2 file in the [Steam Directory]\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data directory. Then verify the game cache. https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335

Note: Its a large file (2.42GB or more, depending on language) , so it will take a while to re-download it.

I have tried this but I still CAN'T hear NPC voices, but I can hear all other sounds.

Uninstall Razer Surround, to troubleshoot whether or not this is the issue.
