People are griping about the graphics, but can we just take a moment and appreciate the new enemy animations? They're awesome! Ive barely ventured out from sanctuary due to being obsessed with Fallout 4 Sims edition, but just the small amount of enemies I've encountered have blown me away.
The way the Mirelurks creep along like actual crabs with that slightly disturbing chitery sound, Feral Ghouls throwing themselves at you with the zeal you'd expect from brain dead subhumans swarming from under debris and through windows, Radroaches clambering along walls to chase you, the mighty Deathclaw no longer just lumbers into you, it slinks along and roars and serpentines through your gunfire, your clip emptying at the same rate as your pants filling the closer it gets.
One of my favorite enemies have always been Sentry Bots, and fallout 4 didn't disappoint, sentry bots are now huge behemoths of metal and weaponry, bearing down on you unfeeling and uncaring, they feel heavy and solid like the tanks they are, who wont stop until you break them down to their core.
It adds so much to the immersion when the enemies move and act like you'd think they would based on their type, and I, for one think FO4 nailed it with the new enemies. Anyone have a favorite enemy or animation change they absolutely adored when you encountered them?
