This thread is so that we can keel all mods requests, ideas, projects and suggestions for Fallout 4 in a single place.

What I′d love to see is a mod where you get to join a raider clan as a faction and work with them in taking over settlements, procure resources, extort caravans/merchants, etc. Basically a faction that is opposed to the minutemen and BoS.

Personally, I have a problem with the key bindings.

For instance, building things is a pain in the rear for me. I have E bound to "move forward." I know this is weird to some people, and that I might be the only one. However, I've had this binding in virtually every game I've played for over 12 years now and it hasn't been a problem until now.

And yes, I have other problems with the E key -- like looting. What's up with E being looting some things (containers) and KEYPAD-ENTER, as I have it mapped, doing it other times (single items)?

Anyway, I can't move forward or backwards when I'm trying to place a building. I'm assuming that you are supposed to be able to do so -- maybe you aren't -- but if you aren't, that's a whole other problem. I'm left with guessing that a building (or whatever) will fit in the space I want it to. I can move side to side, because my left and right strafe "keys" are mapped to my mouse buttons #4 and #5 and those don't interfere with the built-in key binds.

I would be nice to have the ability to have two keys bound to the same action; in my case E and ARROW UP would operate as move forward where I could use E to move my character and UP ARROW when building, as many games do.

If you have suggestions, I open to them.

(Disclaimer: I'm at work at the moment, and can't check for accuracy of my statements. I'm going off memory, which when you are as old as I, can be sketchy at times.)

I'd really like a mod to fix steam controller compatibility.

Right now,there's no way to have a mouse input and a joystick input at the same time.

If you rebind the movement keys, A is still the key to use for lockpicking where usually I would assume it's left if you use WASD.

There was one for Skyrim, so I'd love a mod that changes the lockpicking movement to the left direction key, or whatever you would bind left to. I mean I know it's a little thing, but it's a pain to go over to the other side of the keyboard.

from the previous list posted above, does "classic power armor" = removal of the power core system? if not, remove the power core system. if so, disregard the duplicate request.

Not only should there be different races, super mutant, ghoul, synth. i want their perk tree unique to them as well. many of the perks can just do the same thing and be renamed something clever relating to ghouls or synths. I'd thought of some but forgot them. As most of these start immune to radiation their rad perks can give bonuses or do something completely different. Instead of aquaman a synth could get waterproof.

Modifiable R91 Assault Rifle from F3.

Modifiable NCR Service Rifle from NV.

Modifiable 10mm SMG.

And somehow being able to use these on Xbox One once mods can be ported to console. I'll be building a real-life NCR Service Rifle, so I'm stuck on console for a good while.

Something like a heavy-duty power armour that requires a regular power armour to operate, somewhat akin to Iron Man's Hulkbuster armour in The Avengers: Age of Ultron. Would also require something like 4-5 fusion cores to operate and a lot of steel and so on to build and repair, but would be armed to the teeth, such as gatling lasers on both arms with a shoulder mounted missile launcher and would be able to scrap with super mutants toe-to-toe.

You would need to have your science and armourer skills maxed out to be able to even build it, but I think that would be only fair to prevent people getting hold of it early in the game and making things too easy. It would also be limited to outdoor areas due to height restrictions as well.

For a separate mod, being able to build a minigun that uses shotgun shells for ammunition, but would require the gun nut and science skills to be maxed out to be able to build it.

bows / crossbows / spears in the game, you would think that these basic weapons would be around and used in a post apocalyptic world

no craftable ammo ? really ? I can build mines , make drugs , make poisons ... but no ammo

just one ammo type per caliber , no Incendiary , Armor Piercing , Incendiary Armor Piercing , Explosive , Tracer ammo ... sad

missing 5.56 , 7.62 / 7.92 ammo ...

Better fencing and walls... It gets annoying when trying to build something and you have all these gaps.
Or restorable buildings, maybe not to prewar level even just patched up walls and roofs would be better.
