Punching Weapons and Power armour?

Post » Wed Dec 02, 2015 10:26 pm

Hi all. I want to wear power armor and punch things, i thought this would be simple.

I can't seem to wear a power fist while in power armour though, why ? is there an alternative? Does wearing the armor give innate bonuses to punching?

recommendations and advice on this topic would be nice

You can later on add mods to your gloves which increase punching damage, and even add energy damage to them, there's even a mod for your torso which reflects 50% of melee damage back to the attacker, very good for deathclaws and legendary scorpions.

There is Power Armor fist mods but it doesn't even remotely match up to other high end melee/unarmed weapons, and takes until level 29 to get the decent one.

Fist mods? huh?

can you elaborate on that, i'm confused. Is there a type of fist that can be worn with power armour?

It's mods you put onto the power armor ARMS slot. It's kinda trash though, unless you play on easier difficulties I guess.

pretty sure power armors have a inate "unarmed" bonusk, on top of the strength gain it gives. That and the modifications you can do to the power armor arms sound a lot like what you are asking for. Haven't tried it myself though, because imo, melee vs guns is stupid.
