Battle Chess - by far, one of the best games from gamesas and I would
like it again - to work on the new WIN programs.
Years ago, I had this dos version & nursed it thru earlier Windows program up
to WIN7 Pro w/32bit. By then, some parts didn't work so well. I probably will
never upgrade beyond WIN7, but I would welcome a Battle Chess that would
work on WIN7, 64bit. Any ideas from anyone at Support??

Since you have the original DOS version, you should try DOSBox - a third party utility for running older DOS games on more recent versions of Windows.

DOSBox can be difficult to use, but there are frontends that make it much easier. We like:

GOG sells a tweaked version of the original Battle Chess in a collection:
