Steam Autumn Sale 2015

Post » Thu Dec 03, 2015 2:35 am

I put 100 dollars into Steam for the Autumn sale. I set a hard 'budget' for myself: I was only allowed one AAA game, 6 other games or DLC (indie or older AAA games), and the rest to be spent on gifts. My AAA choices were narrowed down to The Witcher 3 and Mad Max. I too want to see what all the fuss is about but not just because of the word around, but because Skyrim, Fallout 4, and even Mad Max are just extremely shallow games. I haven't even played Witcher 1 & 2 yet (though I have them on both Steam and GoG), but I am compelled to play it.

I also did buy ARK, but I don't count that as a AAA because of both Early Access status and it's $17.99 sale price.

I have been very tempted to buy Witcher 3 but have held off so far! I want to wait on the basis that I need to play Witcher 1 and 2 first! Too many games not enough time :ahhh:

Is the one with dinosaurs? Was half tempted to get this. I've heard a lot of good buzz about it.

Well I bought Portal 1&2 bundle and Call of Duty: MW3 my favorite CoD game on Steam. The best part is I now have the entire Modern Warfare Series on my PC :D.

We need to win the lotto to find enough time to play our backlogs.

What sold me was the pretty visuals, cool destruction like a t-rex bashing through a stone and wood gate, full controller support, and single player mode so you don't have to play with loonies online. 90% of the bad reviews for the game are about the multiplayer aspect and people who either cheat/hack or just play like raiders instead of survivors.
