IM ON THE VERGE OF SMASHING MY COMPUTER!! ok I downloaded mods for skyrim from nexus and then everything got messed up so I deleted Everything and reinstalled skyrim. Finally when I got it back up Everybody in my skyrim the texture for horned scale armor Is all shiny and light purple and every NPC that wheres It has the same problem I NEED HELP. yes I reinstalled the nexus mod manager and all my mods were gone because it didn't detect anything. HELP.

The texture files for that armor are missing, or the game is looking for the textures in the wrong place.

1. Verify the local content of your game through Steam. This should force the game to reacquire the missing textures (plus any other files that are missing or corrupt).

2. Go to your My Documents\My Games\Skyrim folder and delete the Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini files there. This will force the game to generate new default .ini files (your old .ini files typically don't get deleted when you delete and reinstall the game).

Try launching the game and see if your problem has been fixed.
