All right i give up....trying decorate Lakeview Manor

Post » Thu Dec 03, 2015 4:09 am

Alright im at my wits end here......

ive tried repeatedly to decorate lakeview manor repeatedly with Jaxonz Positioner and always i get to a point and suddenly when i try to quicksave it crashes no matter where im at....

now this is what i tend to do i do not delete anything if i dont like it i push it thru the walls...i try to keep the original light sources there.....

i mean im at my wits end here. i really dont know what im doing wrong.

now i use storage helpers and i tend to make the 1st floor of the wizards tower a libray with 3 bookshelves from that mod.....now ive heard that that mod can cause trouble but aint put much faith in those rumors till now and am beginning to wonder if maybe i should.

any help is appreciated.

qwert

EDIT-

ok i took my game way back and no matter what save i use if i try to quick save or manual save it just crashes...it loads but will not save.

Try removing the items you pushed through the walls. I mean how man items are IN the walls that aren't supposed to be there and are conflicting as the game try's to save? I can't say if that IS the problem but I'd give it a try.

It's bad to delete mods... mid game. Deleting things like chairs or barrels needs to be done with a bit of caution ...but if you put it up a shield ( for example) you can take it down by grabbing it and then I would put it in a barrel...lol

I did have a character that I removed ( aka deleted) all the "clutter" in Lakeview Manor and decorated how I wanted to. She got to lvl 50 and I had no issues that could be tracked back to deleting items in the house. I was very careful to do it slowly and save before I did any of it... I did no decorating until I had everything deleted that I didn't want their. Then I played for a while, went in and out of the house multiple times. She had 25 to 30 shields up on the walls, some re-sized, by the time I was done with her story. I also added some Dwemer furniture... by copying it, her Dwemer artifacts looked very good on it.

Use caution and save before you do anything
