Hi,

When I first started the game a few weeks back I ran into the cultists and killed them. Later on when on a Companions mission I killed two more.

Now after doing what I wanted to do, I then decided I wanted to start Dragonborn DLC. I selected the mission and when I arrived at the arrow I had to drag a dead cultist out of the water. Once that was done I checked his contents but there were no orders in there. When nothing was coming of that I decided to just get the boatman to take me to the next island, but when I got there the Dragonborn initial quest log was still there. Worried that this could mess things up I decided to reload my old save back and Skyrim and do other stuff.

Now ever since those first confrontations early on in the game, never since have I come across any new cultists. All I get is the Dawnguard coming after me (even after changing back to a wolf... tsk!), and nothing from the cultists.

My next attempt was to trying the dead thrall conjuration technique. Again though this did not give the cultist with the mission marker still on him any new set of orders.

The only solutions I can find on the net are for PC commands only. No good for consoles.

Has anyone else run into this problem and then found a resolve? I'm 117 hours in and really don't want to mess up my character by starting all over again.

So to recap on the things I've tried...

1: Dead Thrall Fast Travel - Didn't work.

2: System clear cache and uninstall & reinstall Dragonborn DLC (Legendary Edition)
