Okay so i played Skyrim on my laptop on windows 7 now with my new desktop on windows 10 the launcher starts but when i press play it just closes the launcher then the launcher opens again. then i can repeat the process. everything says run compatibility but the launcher with windows 7 compatibility does nothing or crashes completely. the game itself i cant change it, it is permanently stuck on windows 8 compatibility and run on administrator they are grey and i cant change them. even when i troubleshoot. pleas help.

Okay now i have everything running windows 7 compatibility but now when i press play in the launcher the launcher closes and nothing happens. it just closes then i re open the game myself the launcher comes up then closes. steam says "sync" then nothing. sooooo yea.

If you have a desktop icon to launch Skyrim, delete it and make a new one. (So if you have a TESV.exe icon on your desktop delete that, and make a new shortcut)

Also delete your skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini files located in: C:\Users\*YourUserID*\Documents\My Games\Skyrim

i have tried all of the above many times. many many many......... many times. no luck. and i still really want to play the game ive sunk over $200$ into. (i have bought 60$ copy on Xbox broke it bought a new one and both dlc and 2 ps3 copies and a $40 PC copy)
