It would also be nice if the dialogue would come back like fallout 3 and fallout new Vegas. This 4 option dialogue is getting boring and dumbed down.
Wouldn't it be nice if we were older? Then we wouldn't have to wait so long.
Plop down a doghouse in the settlement you send Dog to. You'll always find Dogmeat there.
edit: there are dialogue mods on Nexus this bring back the old 1-2-3-4 lines dialogue menu. Though I'm waiting for GECK-made mods myself.
If there isn't an ESP, and the mod just replaces the SWF files used for dialog, you should be fine. Just don't use any ESPs yet, or use them with extreme caution.
And yeah, I would really appreciate at least seeing their location listed in the Workshop menu, or when I hover over whatever settlement they're chilling in. But the only time I've lost a companion is when they moved Piper and Nick for a single part in the main quest. That was a little weird.
Thanks, Box. I'll backup saves and give the popular one a try tonight.
One thing I learned from critically listening to the songs on Pet Sounds... is that the lyrics have a really juvenile worldview.
On topic: What would be the ideal way to keep track of companions on the map? Persistent map markers that always show their current location? An extra line in the workshop stats (and map marker thumbnail) that lists the companions there? Or, and this could be a pretty easy mod, miscellaneous "Travel with [Companion]" objectives that add a toggleable quest marker to them.
