Your top 3 most feared *Legendary* enemy

Post » Sat Dec 05, 2015 2:33 am

Assaultrons - all of 'em. If I don't get the drop on them, I bail. If I do sneak up on one, I'll lay down half a dozen mines in one spot then snipe her from the other side of the mines. She walks over them and it's over. Pretty much any other scenario I get wasted.

Oh, once I kited one into a pack of Super Mutants (including a Legendary Butcher) - all skulled to me at the time - that was an epic fight to see. Muties won, but she cleaned up 4 of them plus two Hounds while I put my body weight in .308 into the Butcher.

Drop was a Sec Baton that did 50% extra dam vs Super Mutants. Sigh...

Assaultrons and Sentybots for sure. Another one for me and I know it's not legendary tho is the Behemoth.

I sure am not looking forward to my first encounter with a Legendary Camouflage Deathclaw. In fact, I am far from anxious to find a regular Camouflage Deathclaw.

Up to this point, anything with the name Assaultron attached to it is most unwelcomed.

Regi Blattaria

Took quite a few re-loads before I finally exploded his head, gattling lasers hurt when you only have 15 energy resistance...

My top 3:

1) Enemies made of metal

2) Enemies with shells

3) Enemies with claws

This evening, while trying to make my way to the BoS airship, I took a wrong turn and was walking down a road when 2 mirelurks and 2 different legendary mirelurks popped up from the ground. After soiling my pants, I ran to the water, swam across, came back to a bridge, jumped atop a car, and am now enjoying one hell of a lobster dinner.

I can't help but chuckle as they swarm the car but can't touch me.

Crap I was about to post the same as Washington till I saw your post. I forgot about that thing stored in Vault 111. What was the strength on the lock to the cryolator?

1. Legendary Queen Mirelurk. Fricking skyscrapper horseshoe crab put the living fear of the Nine into my poor PC the first time he met one at Spectacle Island

2. Legendary King Mirelurk. Lizard-Fish Hubby was slightly smaller than the queen bee in #1, but no less terrifying...

3. Supermutant Behemoth. For the obvious reason my PC hates one taking their fire hydrant modded club and using his head for batting practice.

1. Legendary Sentry bot ( forgot it's title but it was 2-3 times the size of a deathclaw and bigger than a behemoth).

2. Legendary bloodbugs ( that poison gets me every time).

3. Legendary Mirelurk queens ( there acid is just as bad as a bloodbugs poison).

For deathclaw I pop a psychojet and with my two shot auto combat rifle make short work of them.

I don't think I've ever run into a legendary Assaultron. I imagine it wouldn't be very fun though.

1. Legendary Mirkelurk king. Scary, ugly and bad for health.

I have not met the queen yet.

I've fought 3 of them. They are pretty easy just don't get cornered.

It is a Master lock. The game puts it up on the loading screen occasionally as a reminder. I went back for it but other than a few rounds test firing I haven't touched it.

I found one of those today, for the first time. Much to my relief, a one-shot with my newly upgraded sniper rifle blew him to bits.

I love the Ninja perk.

Sentry bots are fairly brutal. My one encounter with it involved an elevator door opening and it blocking my exit. It shredded my power armor in the 3 seconds it took for the doors to slam close again.

I don't use heavy weapons at all but make sure I have pulse grenades and mines for robots, plasma for animals and frags for humanoids with the explosives perk maxed.

Radscorpions are tough because they tunnel and pop up right on top of you with poisoned stingers so it is hard to use explosives and you can't run away.

Alpha Deathclaws are not as scary as in New Vegas. I have had fights where they went into the "kill" animation three times in the same fight and I still beat it.

Legendary stingwings when there are also several others to fight. I rarely use VATS so hitting them is tough.
