Help; Armour Customization Glitch

Post » Fri Dec 04, 2015 7:01 pm

Hey people, I am having an issue at the armour customisation bench where I am unable to mod certain items which clearly have open mod slots. I'm level 23 and for the entirety of my play through this far, I have only been able to mod arm, leg, and torso options, not helmets and certain full outfits. For example, my combat helmet clearly has a an empty mod slot, but does not appear on the list when I use the armour workbench.

Has anybody else faced this issue? Hopefully this will be addressed in the next patch, whenever that might be. Thanks for your feedback.

Keep in mind that some outfits have a inacessable mod slot because its something you unlock via a faction quest.

But the combat helmet part does sound of, are ya sure its a combat helmet and not a old army helmet?

My mistake, it is a dirty army helmet actually, but it does have a mod slot and does not appear at the bench. Thanks for your reply.

I also notice that things such as my dirty army fatigues and bandana also have mod slots when viewed through the pip boy, but are not showing up at the bench. Can you shed any light on that for me?

Not everything that has a slot is modable at all, its not a glitch, its just a way the games coded I guess, and again others are modable, but only after doing a particular faction quest.

Uh ok, so everything is just mislabeled. Thanks for the clarification, guess I'll keep playing as planned and see what becomes available.

Cheers
