Dodge Mechanics

Post » Sat Dec 05, 2015 2:06 pm

Does anyone else wish there were dodge mechanics in Fallout?

I realize they've never existed in Beth games (with the exception of ESO, they have dodgeroll, etc...),

Personally, I would love some sort of dodge mechanic. All this sprinting away and the lackluster block options just take away from the experience for me. Getting in to cover quickly is nearly impossible to me.

Any thoughts?

Yeah I'd like it. I think the button configuration is already pretty maxed out on the console editions though. Maybe on pc.

Sprint+left/right/back could be left/right/back dodge since you can't sprint sideways or backwards.

I don't remember that. It's been a while.

You had to have 100 Acrobatics, so it wasn't super accessible.

It was pretty annoying. Especially of you had an arrow knocked. You roll, it fires, you miss.
