is it safe to store in the armor/weapon stations in Diamond city market? I know i can buy homeplate but it's always a hassle to take every item and move it to a workbench. Or is there another way to do it? Thx in advance

You know, I would like to know this too. I have all my stuff in Homeplate, but man it's a hassle.

Just drop a container in Red Rocket for all of the cool stuff you will never use. It won't get attacked if there aren't crops/settlers/water there

I've been storing my inventory in weapon station and so far have had no problems. The only down side is that weapon and armor stations do not share their inventory, like they do in your settlements. Bur I imagine that you could make private stations in your Diamond city house and those should share their inventory between them.

stations only share junk/crops anyway, you drop a rifle or helmet into a station it won't be available in another settlement even if it's linked.

I think armour/weapon/Powerarmour stations are "safe containers" ie they never respawn, so it's safe to put stuff in them. You may need to go back and collect them though.

Yup, correct on all points. Once I get a settlement in Hangman's alley I move everything to there for the central location. I bought the house on the first play though but never again.

The OP is asking whether the weapons bench next to Commonwealth Weaponry is safe to store things in. Or any other workbench in the Market area. He doesn't care about the workbench in Home Plate, or anywhere else. He just wants to know if the public workbenches are safe storage.

I tend to store all my junk in the power armor station in Diamond city and haven't had any issues yet. Can't speak for anywhere else, but I do know that has been safe storage for me.
