There are to many Youtubers who dont seem to understand the difference between rare and unique.

theres a lot of videos I've clicked on that state how to get a 'unique weapon' and in fact it turns out to be just a rare legendary item.

For something to be unique it must be a one of a kind item that can't be found elsewhere in the game, like for instance the Alien Blaster or the Shishkebab.

Educate yourselves or stop uploading your lies to the internet.
