I want my own vault

Would be a sweet dlc if they gave us the opportunity to ether get our own vault or do what we want with vault 111.. what do you guys think?

I would love to have a vault settlement but there is already a vault settlement more or less (though one I don't get to run) with Vault 81 so it is kind of a toss up. At the very least, the ability to do SOMETHING with Vault 111 aside from

Spoiler
mourn your spouse and get the cryo-gun.

I know right? Seems an awful waste of space. Just needs a workshop, then you can bring 111 back up to standard. And yeah seriously, how about some closure with SPOILER to put that whole thing to bed as opposed to walking back there and just seeing SPOILER. I feel like a $#!+ every time I wander back that way. I just stopped.

Don't worry OP, there will be a ton of Vault homes available once the toolkit is released. I'll probably make one myself, and make 111 livable again with a proper resolution for SPOILER.

Yeah, hadn't thought about the tool kit making that possible. Though I play on console not on PC but at least the PC modes will be usable for me.

That said... only interesting thing about returning to the vault is taking a companion and seeing their reaction to the spoiler.

yes, totally agreed, and build inside the vault like in a settlement and have settlers working or even investigating,

"Hey, people who need shelter from radiation and access to clean water and electricity! I am going to build you a settlement out of crappy scrap-walls and duct-tape as a hobby, for you to be able to dig into the dirt to make me glue. So much glue. Now, don't mind me, as I go to a high security vault with no inhabitants, which only I can permit you entry to, to pick up a piece of equipment I saw lying around and left because breaking the glass to get it seemed rude at the time after they cryogenically froze me without consent."

It seemed a bit weird that a completely functional vault was left completely untouched and unused when there is literally an entire settlement that requires shelter from radiation down the hill. :P
