Water Focused DLC

You know what I want in my DLC for Fallout 4, Bethesda? Sea Monsters!

Seriously, it's pretty surprising that we don't often hear what's out in the water. Maybe it's because there's vertibirds to just fly everywhere but I don't know. It seems to me if Bears and Mosquito's could get mutated into monsters by the bombs so could a few whales or something. It'd be easy to come up with some excuse plot too to make it happen. Maybe there's some old institute tech on an island you have to go check out, but it kicks up fierce radiation storms so just flying over to it isn't an option. So maybe you've got to sail there.

Technical limitations maybe. Since it's hard to do giant overland maps and stuff when you've already got one. But make it happen!

you need water based combat animations for this.

it's almost a whole new combat system.

I'd like to see an operational submarine, maybe you pick up a distress signal for a pre-war sub or there's and underwater vault with unique power armor designed for deep sea exploration. I don't know what the quest could be but it would be an awesome environment to explore, I can't imagine what kind of creatures there would be, imagine seeing a mutated great white shark or a giant squid.

I

I was gonna put something but you've pretty much summed up exactly the type of thing I'd enjoy. Maybe something that uses ' A Shadow over Innsmouth' as it's inspiration.

We do see those Mutated Killer Dolphins all around the assorted beaches.

Wouldn't mind seeing some missions built around the Anti-Flipper.

Just the thought of unloading the Broadsider on one of those things brings a smile to this old marine biologists face!

Maybe a possible quest could be exploring one of those ancient cities but it's underwater, if you completed the quest for Jack Cabot you know what I'm talking about. Even today there are so many cities buried at sea it would be cool to just explore around in one, kind of give it the feel of bioshock without the powers. Maybe throw in some kind of grand conspiracy with a Lovecraft twist, I haven't read his work but I know enough to think it would be a cool experience. Plus I want Lorenzo's awesome artifact hat haha

And if Bethesda does make an underwater exploration dlc they need to through in some kind of bioshock Easter egg, like find a skeleton in an old diving suit that looks a lot like a big daddy or a weapon that looks like one from the series, bioshock had a pretty awesome arsenal. I'd love to see a giant rivet gun from bioshock 2 but I could be like a huge mod for the railway rifle or something, just saying I think it'd be cool
