Problem with positioning to repair Power Armor

Post » Sun Dec 06, 2015 6:22 am

I'm on a PC and I have a terrible time getting in position to REPAIR the Power Armor.

I've spent as long as 5 minutes ( maybe longer ) trying to get the menu to Repair the Armor to come up.

Every time I get close to it I get the menu that shows me what the Armor has but it takes a lot of maneuvering to hit the precise pixel where the Repair menu will come up.

Anyone else experience this or is it my rig somehow?

I have an Nvidia Geforce GTX 970 video card at 16 gigs of RAM.

The game runs fine. But I have this very frustrating problem.

Is there a console command to put me in Repair mode for the Power Armor?

Whaa... Uhm, the repair menu stems from the nearest, to that armor, power armor station, not the power armor itself. :)

This. Simply make sure the suit you want to repair is the closest one to the power armor station. Then look at the station and choose craft. Repair is an option on each piece.

I had problem getting repair option on station at first. now I walk right into middle of Sanctuary's station all the way to the wall, then turn around and inch forward until it lets me out. maybe it is a parking issue for some ?

I did not realize that!!!! :ahhh:

Since the menu comes up to see what the PA has when I approach it, I thought the same should happen for the repair menu and I can < sometimes > get it to happen. I guess I am getting close enough to the Frame by accident to make it work. I will try it very soon and I will try approaching the Frame instead of the Armor to get the Repair menu.

Thank you very very much. :)

Heh, no problem. Happens to me too, quite often... :D

EDIT: My whaa... was because I had to read it a few times. First I thought: "Man that's a weird graphics glitch." :D

Yep, getting closer to the Frame did the trick.

Thank you very very much.
