Ive done nicks & MacCready personal quest but one els bothers to ask me to help them with anything even piper and shes getting the virtual D on a regular bases and im even walking around citys naked trying to make caith happy but shes not giving me anyting apart from how nice i am keep her out of trouble.

Cait does for sure, most do. I never got one from Piper or she gave me her perk before her mission. I think she (Piper) has some minor mission when you meet her. That may be her thing. I don't think I got one from Strong, I was expecting to have to kill his old leader or something. The requirments to unlock may not be the same, some are how much they like you, mccready was actually purely based on time so others may unlock who knows how or when or why and they may not be the determining factor for their perk.

Piper you need to get to maximum attraction, and maybe romance, to get her perk. Cait has a quest but I don't remember getting a perk from it.

They all stop you to chat. Most of it is just them wanting answers to their life issues which are basically checkmarks for your progress with them.

I think so, with one obvious exception tho, but then again dogmeat doesn't give ya perk either, so it evens out.

Cait, Curie, Valentine, and McCready have personal quests

Danse has a big quest that's part of the later BoS storyline.

Piper doesn't really have a quest per-say, but she does get vindication in a quest that happens after the MQ.
