I think you are supposed to head to the roof immeditaley after you get to the polics statioon for the BOS quests to start.

I did not know this in my current playthrough.

I have put about 50 hours in since I first got to the police station.

Did Lost Partrol.

I know you are supposed to hop on a vertibird to get to the airship for the BOS quests, but, now, there is no vertibird. Is the questline broken at this stage? Is there another trigger I am supposed to do to get it to show up? I have tuned my radio to the af95 (I believe that is a close name to the actual radio channel). No vertibird...

Hm the obvius question here wud be did you advance main story far enough for the Prywiden/BOS to arrive in force at all happens after Fort Hagen MQ.

Good Q! How far do you need to go in the main quest to get that to go? I have been to Diamond City, but, haven't done much there. Is there an obvious trigger at some point in the MQ that says, "Hey you, go get a ride on the vertibird!"

Just odd I was able to do lost patrol already...

I see "Fort Hagen MQ" above. That will do the trick! Thank you! I think I should be good then. No need to start over. I'll get to the main quest eventually. Having too much fun wwandering around and doing random stuff so far.

I have done lost patrol as well, picked it up when I was sent to the national guard station on some other quest. If you pick up any of the holotapes there, you get the quest, whether you have met the BOS or not.

Gotta do Fort Hagen before BOS shows up in force.
