So I am trying to do the quest. Only problem is I can not find the damn place. And the quest is no where on my quest list. So I can not track it.

Go to any city you know, find a carriage driver (should be near the stables) and pay him to drive you to Falkreath, should be between 20 and 50 gold.

I know where the city is. But I was told to gill the bandits in the hold. Is that the same palce as the city? I really just want to do harth stone. I do not remember having to do any quest for it when I had it on the xbox. Before I built this PC>

There is none. That is the problem. It is not in my quest log. The Jarl told me to go kill the bandits in his hold. He said that he had an understanding with them, but his cut is no longer large enough. SO go kill them all.

If you've gotten the quest to kill the bandit leader from Siddegir (the jarl), then he should have marked the location of the bandit camp on your map. Just go to that location and kill them to complete the quest.

ETA - never mind this - you've gotten a glitch. Do you have a recent save you can load to try to get the quest from the jarl again?

I am not seeing anything marked nor anything about it in my quest log. But I will just roam around and loo for those places. Thank you very much!

Do you have an earlier save?

Do you have any other "Kill the bandit leader at XXXX." quests active? If you do, you need to clear those before you can get this quest.

If the quest hasn't shown up in your log, then visiting those locations won't do any good. The bandits you have to kill only spawn when you get the quest.

I veary well may. I am not on right now. Took a brake. But I think I do. I am 94% sure I do.

Check under your Miscellaneous tab and make sure that quest is marked for tracking.

I looked there, it was not there. But now that I know where to look I will just serch for it. I thought that the hold was a place apart from the town.
