Always Female in the Fallout Universe and Always male in The Elder Scrolls Universe (except TES:O). I would of liked to have played as a Female character in Skyrim, but i hated the prissy walking animation they had and the different armour changes they had to endure ( iron helm lost the bull horns for some crappy littel curled up goat horns)

The only time I ever played as a female in a Bethesda game was Morrowind through a mod. It felt odd and I couldn't see myself represented in the main character so I have played males ever since.

If the female in this game turns out to have an entirely different story during the playthrough I would try it out though.

Not sure. I might go one very good, one shady to see where it leads. I have to think about how to allocate S.P.E.C.I.A.L as well. Right now I'm leaning towards very different builds and quest lines so it doesn't get monotonous.

I more or less always play as a male, with the occasional female playthrough to just to see if anything is different aside from lady parts. I never really understood the appeal of playing exclusively as a woman when you're a guy.

different strokes for different folks, I agree with you however I literally cannot get into a game with a female protagonist at all...I still.quite enjoy the alpha male heroes, cuz heroes are alpha
