Broken Textures

Anyone else suffering from this? It happens after playing for an extended period of time and is fixed by saving, exiting the game, starting the game, and loading the save.

I'm not using any texture mods, I have an R9 390X with 8GB of VRAM, and it never gets above 60C. What could be causing this?

Are you using any mods? It does not have to be texture mods but maybe an esp mod using FO4Snip or or FO4 edit that was not correctly made or using a feature that is not fully compatible with FO4. Any esp mod at the moment can be risky since we do not know everything from the FO4 engine and likely will not know until the official tools are released.

Are you using the Beta Patch or at some point used the Beta Patch?

What settings are you using?

The only mod I'm using right now is My HUD, which only affects the .swf UI files.

I am using the beta patch, but this issue has happened before the beta patch. I only subscribed to the beta to see if it was fixed.

Everything was automatically set to Ultra by the launcher. I did change God Rays to Low and Shadow Distance and Quality to Medium.

Change the texture quality to Medium or High. I did not notice much of a difference between Medium and Ultra qualities.

You can also try a clean boot into Windows just in case if a third party program might be interfering with the game and the card.

I didn't really buy a $450 GPU to keep my settings on Medium, and the launcher itself sets everything to Ultra when it detects my GPU.

I just put this PC together about 3 weeks ago. So far, I only have Notepad++, 7zip, and several games installed. Including The Witcher 3, which gives me no issues at all even on maxed out settings.

I know you're trying to help me out here, and I appreciate that, but everything on my end is fine. I spent $2,000 on a PC to play the best games of 2016, and so far I've had no issues with games like Just Cause 3, The Witcher 3, and Star Wars: Battlefront. I'm only playing at 1080p on a small monitor, so my GPU should be absolutely crushing games like Fallout 4.

But so far, all I've gotten are rainbow textures and FPS issues.

this happened to me once, but I can tell the circumstances that lead to it. It happened when I was trying beta and then when I reverted back. I had several problems which led me to go back to release, but even then I was having these kind of corrupted textures. Difficult to tell if it was during beta or not as it was 2 weeks ago. I was using texture mods also. At the end after playing around with inis and checking game cache it didn't happen anymore.
