After reading the Eurogamer performance anolysis, purely to choose which platform I choose to get the game on, I couldn't help but notice that the majority of the hitches happen when the game is trying to load the next section of the map as you're entering. Has the dev team thought of possibly pre-streaming the assets about 10 seconds from the transition area that's causing the hitches now? it might result in frame rates dropping for a period but I'd rather that than a noticeable pause at the next section. Destiny uses a similar system where 10 seconds before the transition area it loads the next, I know the games aren't that similar, but the loading might give the game some performance boosts?
