I sthis a new patch or the same old one? : Fallout: New Vegas

I seen this posted today saying that the update is available, it's on the general discussions page first post. It was posted last night.

I played late last night and did not get a patch. Hopefully today we will...

I was wondering because I haven't installed the first patch becaues of issues that it caused, but the new post by GStaff states the update is available...hmmm weird.
