Why can't I alert the Brotherhood of Steel to this unprecedented technology?! This could've been an amazing side quest to upgrade vertibirds into being deathmachines. I guess you could alert the Institute, too, if you went that route.

Institute is all scientists who are sceptical of something as outlandish as Synths being concidered as humans so I doubt they would say "ya little green men from mars are real" and the brotherhood are a bunch of meat head militants who would not understand what your talking about. Your best bet would be tinker tom who is perrinoid of everything and nobody in the railroad believes him anyway.

Using the institute as "skeptical" is the weakest argument because they have a veritable army of slaves they can send to check it out. Nevemrind that, as Director, you have dictatorial authority. They can't tell you no.
