Questions about companions... : Fallout 4

If you piss off a companion too much, he/she will refuse to travel with you. Then what? Is it possible to make them like you again?
Is it possible to make a companion refuse to travel with you after you successfully romance them?
Can you romance multiple companions at the same time? Does romancing a new companion mean you are breaking up with the previous one?
