PIPBOY Size on Screen

Post » Tue Dec 08, 2015 3:37 pm

I have 2 characters. On the first character the PIP BOY takes up most of the screen. On the Second Character the PIP boy is about 1/4 the size maybe slightly larger than that but way too small. I've tried the "V: key and it only makes it slightly larger. Its a weird thing. Any Ideas how to get it back the larger size? Thanks for any help.

Using the same button to swtich between 1st and 3rd person it makes the pipboy fill the whole screen instead of seeing arm and background

Seems to be a bug that arises when you change the FOV (third or first person). Mind you it's a strange bug that only seems to affect characters created after the FOV settings change.

It seems to be by design to me. On my PS4 I can tap the Touchpad while in my Pip-Boy screen and make it smaller or larger at will. I like it, helps me see it a lot better when I sit further away from the TV. If it is a bug I hope they don't fix it.

Really? I have to try this.

I changed the color of my Pip Boy to a midnight green color and sometimes it is hard to see. Bet if I got a closer look it would be better.

So no that didn't make much of a difference at all.Im using a utility to change the FOV number in the Fallout ini files so that may be the culprit.Ill have to play with that.Set it back to default maybe and see what happens.

You can actually zoom in on the pip-boy with right clicking on the mouse while in pip-boy mode..

on PC it has something to do with right clicking. If you hold R-mouse and move your mouse you can move your arm around. Tapping R-Click zooms in to fill the screen.

Yeah I know about that and it doesn't seem to do anything but move the arm around.

If you just tap R-Click it will zoom/unzoom.. it's pretty sensitive though. You might also need to be clicking on the screen of the pip-boy.. strange ui...

SO far none of this has worked.I logged into my original character and literally the PIP Boy takes up almost the whole screen.Cant even see my Arm.Kind of like the PIP Boy while you are in Power Armor.I logged into my second character and I see practically his whole arm and the PIP boy screen is so small I can barely read what is on it.I am playing in 1440p resolution but its the same rez for both characters and the difference is rediculous.
