Shivering Isles won't start up (PC) : IV

I have enabled SI in my data files, and I waited 3 days, and I still get no message. I have the GOTY edition. Knights of the Nine works (I can see the cloud in the sky). But Shivering Isles just doesn't seem to start...I have uninstalled and reinstalled my game a number of times and still no luck...any suggestions?

No its not there...but in my data files (In my oblivion folder) it has all the textures and stuff for SI?

Is there a console code that can jumpstart the quest?

Did you check SI esp file in the data section of the launcher?

Keep in mind, it takes generally 24 to 48 in-game hours for the quest to come up. The island not being there though..... that's a problem.

Ya I checked it in my data files, also I have waited 78 hours for the quest to start, and still nothing. All the meshes and textures are in the games file (oblivion/data). But this quest simply won't start

PROBLEM SOLVED It was my load order the entire time My Oblivion.esm wasn't first and my SI was loading last. (I have other mods installed) :celebration: Thanks for your help Heyyou, and everyone else that took there time to help me out.

Never mind. A week later the island disappeared and the quest in my quest log disappeared. Any idea why this happened all of a sudden? I tried disabling all mods and nothing. I'm running Windows Vista 64.

Is the game installed to the default directory? If it is, uninstall, then reinstall somewhere outside program files.

Where could I install it to?

When i bought this game 3 years ago, the day I got my gaming PC, SI worked fine, only untill about a year ago, does it not work all of a sudden. (After a uninstall and reinstall).
