An amusing "parody" news cast by the Onion which mentions Fallout 3 among other video games as important "tool" to train and prepare our youth for the apocalypse... =p

Mmmm, I'm guessing you watched that awesome vid that was posted in the 'biggest battle' thread and saw the link for this on the side-bar... because I did the same thing. I've seen it before though, I [censored] love The Onion :tops: 'In the Know' is my favourite, and who knows? Collecting morning dew in human skulls could save your life. :vaultboy:

It really can't prepare us because the amount of HP we have in the game compared to real life. Which may cause death with just 1 bullet. The only thing useful I can think of is; you are going to have to drink from toilets to survive. Aka do messed up things to survive. Its kill or be killed.

It be fun living in a apocalypse world. It be really fun scavenging & exploring.. To bad you wouldn't stand much chance to guns.

Yea, if there's nothing alse to regain health and we cant sleep because our spidy sence is tingling, we could eventually have to drink poop filed toilets...
And no one can transport a ton of items on there backs...

And we only have ONE chance in everything... also there's a high chance of getting sterile by eating iradiatted foods and iradiated enviroments.

If I were a Ghoul, I'd set up a huge fort in the underground metros, and have hundreds of ferals roaming the tunnels so nobody could mess with me. I'd live up to my name - be a pariah.

Fallout is the worst source for post-nuclear survival, since 9(+) out of 10 people died in 2077, and even after 200 years there is still only war and plunder in the Wasteland.

This is a joke right? Fallout 3 couldn't possibly make you worse in a apocalypse. The last thing you want to do is rely on a video game like this to help you survive a post apocalypse. The only useful thing is keeping up on your armor and weapons. Oh, and just keep a careful eye looking for dangers and abandoned supplies. Besides that, there is nothing useful that can be helpful.

There would be nothing fun about wandering the ruins.
