Number pad keys not working

Post » Thu Dec 10, 2015 9:44 pm

Hi!

They say that in the latest update the "Number pad keys" will now work for PC....

Well my number pad keys (PC) worked nicely before the update and now they don't...

Anyone that can help me fix this?

I have this issue as well, though I understand the underlying cause of it. What they meant by "fixing" the number pad keys is that now we're able to freely map them for keybindings, instead of them being locked to quick slots. My issue is that I'm left handed, so the number pad was perfect for my quick slots. Now I either have to take my hand away from either the arrow keys (movement) or off my mouse (aiming/steering) and reach over to the number row in order to use an item/change weapons, or go into the Pip-Boy menus to do so.

Best fix: Let us assign our quick slots in the key bindings, please! And the menu navigation for settlement building in workshop mode while you're at it--I can't walk around and place things, since workshop mode uses the arrow keys.

Same here... numpad used to work nicely before the patch... now it's completely non-functioning. -_-"

this is very annoying.

The latest update has made me not even want to play anymore, I hate to say. I have been playing with a Razer Naga which has a nice set of num pad buttons where your thumb rests (if you're right handed) which I was using as my hot keys, but not anymore. I've tried changing the profile of the keys in the mouse's software to normal number keys, but when I go back to play the game, they are still recognized as numpad keys. Yes, they are still functional buttons, but I can't map them as hot keys anymore. I don't think Ill be playing until this changes.
