Anything At All

Despite the very limiting ability to express my own character and my own storyline. In tradition of the Fallout games, that I have been playing, and continuing the storyline of a Fan Fiction of Fallout of my own.

Is I believe the events of F4 are before F3, correct?

I would like to use my family soldier [rolls eyes] to begin the legend that crosses the Mojave wasteland only known by one title the Atomic Survivor. Which both my Fallout 3 character was bestowed for being this awesomely awesome true neutral wanderer who comes and goes as he pleases. And then Fallout New Vegas where my courier is a descendant of the Atomic Survivor and took on the name.

Where this thread was going, is there any light fitting armor at all, that looks like any close to the General Chase's Overcoat [F3] and the Filtration Helmet [F3]. Or the New Vegas main character coat with the mask.

Because the Atomic Survivor always been a character expressed as a man with no face [gas mask] and a long coat [trench coats].

I am trying to make this work.

The Silver Shroud coat is vaguely similar to the coat, and I think there's a gas mask you can wear under a miner's helmet for the filtration helmet look.

Thanks Turtle. It's just kind of annoying cause I am going for a specific stealthy look.

Another question, in the end do I have to choose a faction? Because both Atomics were neutral parties. They would help, but they decided not joining any factions because it was not their war.

Fallout 4 is after Fallout 3. Fallout 3 takes place in 2277, Fallout: New Vegas takes place in 2281, and Fallout 4 takes place in 2287.

Sorry to be a dream killer :(

Nah its okay. Atomic Survivor is a title earned, not something they were given. It's kind of a legend, and I have done many renditions and each of them were different people. kind of like James Bond.

Well, the Silver Shroud costume is based on the look of the classic pulp hero The Shadow. (There is also a bit of The Green Hornet in there but I digress.) You don't get much more stealthy in that genre than him. That should be a good start... it is a waist coat (arguably a trench coat) so while probably not perfect for your wishes, it is a start. As for the facemask, there is a hooded gas mask that is very common in the game though I forget the name of it. You can find it only plenty of raiders, though.

As for the game taking place after Fallout 3, it is "10 years give or take" later.
There are at least four characters you meet from Fallout 3 in the game and at least two others are referenced in terminal entries.

I think the http://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/1151/images/722-2-1447612617.jpg is definitely close, but that ascot gets in the way of making it feel battle hardened. If you're looking for something a tad different but still feels like a soldier/general would wear it, I would go with http://i.imgur.com/iPqTU88.jpg

In terms of helmet, I'd go with http://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/1151/images/734-0-1447616058.jpg or http://vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/2/2c/Gas_Mask_With_Goggles.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20151114184515 with http://hydra-media.cursecdn.com/fallout.gamepedia.com/thumb/3/39/Fo4_Armor_51.png/316px-Fo4_Armor_51.png?version=11fe02fc0d74b9c957c39577785602be
