Combat armor weight discrepancies

Post » Fri Dec 11, 2015 3:17 am

Why do all the combat armor left legs weigh 2 pounds less than combat armor right legs? I thought I had messed up my armor mods, but I stripped each one down to verify, and every left leg of combat armor seems to weigh 2 lbs less than an identically modded right leg. What gives?

I haven't looked into it in such detail, but I am betting that it's because it's a different class of armour. Regular, Sturdy, Heavy. If you spawn them in console, what you get is random and there's no fixed way to get whatever you want other than to keep spawning until you get what you want.

That's not it, I have the same scenario in my game and it is all base level combat armor.

So, someone else noticed this too. When looting things for sale, I always decide what to keep based on its weight to cost ratio. I was keeping left legs and discarding right legs and always thought that was weird and felt short-changed because I should have made more caps.
