Thank you Bethesda for a great game.

Just to be nitpicky.

On the mural in the Museum of Freedom the US flag shows 50 stars. During Woral War Two the flag only had 48 stars since Alaska and Hawaii did not join the United States until 1959. They were territories up until then so if the timeline splits after we dropped the bombs Hiroshima and Nagasaki then the flag is incorrect.

Just because the timeline splits in the 50's, it doesn't prohibit those two states later joining the US as states. It was another hundred and twenty seven years before the bombs dropped in 2077.

You have to remember, This is based in 2077 that time jumps to 2287. Think of it as America going back to the simpler times after WWII. The new threat of a fallout from another country bombing us. They do have mentions of all the wars that the world has seen since WWII, with a few that did, or have not yet happened after 2015. This is how we saw what the future may look like from the late 40's to mid 50's. Everybody in the country was thinking that this is how we would be living in the 21st century. Look @ Back To The Future II Oct. 22nd 2015, it was close on some things 30 years ago that they wrote in the movies.

You both have valid points. My assumption was that the flag depicted was from 1945 which was still before the Fallout timeline split from ours.
