So, about those Brahmin...

Why is it the only settlement I have with a Settler that owns a Cow is in Hangman's Alley near Diamond City? I had to tear down most of the buildings so the cow would have room to moooove.

As a side note, I have the Co-Op, that would've been the perfect place for a cow. So far, no cows.

You can buy brahim and choose where to send it between Concord and Drumlin Diner. Also, need to build a trough for them in your settlement.

I don't think I have the ability to make a trough for this brahmin. Hopefully her owner is taking care of her.

Brahmin are of the devil.

Brahmin are the honey badgers of FA 4...they do not give a fu..

Brahmin can be your BFF because they will damned sure cockblock you from doing anything worthwhile should they get the chance.

A Brahmin walks into a bar...

The bartender says; "Hey Bruce! What was hanging?"

ta dump dump...

Did you build a Brahmin Trough? (It looks like a bathtub, and you find it under Resources/Food/Miscellaneous.) Placing the Trough tends to attract a brahmin faster.

Aside from mooing and eating from a trough do they actually do anything? They don't seem to add to food nor can you assign a settler to them to get milk.

Just don't shoot the thing. The settlement may think your god. But harm the brahmine, and they'll all turn on you.

The Brahmin at Hangman's Alley got turned to ash today by some Gunners attempting to raid it. Was the funniest pile of glowing red ash I have seen.

Can you have more than one in a location? Imagine the noise.

I got a free one every time I built a feed trough at a settlement, but you can buy them from what's-her-name outside Abernathy farm and send them to settlements, and I've met her with one for sale more than once but never tried to stack them anywhere yet.

I was wondering about turning a settlement into a cattle ranch with plenty of fertilizer to... *ahem*... manufacture drugs at. UltraJet dope farm LOL.

In addition to fertilizer production, there is also a variable that suggests they increase productivity of the settlement.

There is some random factor into them, i noticed i had 26 settlers at the Coastal Cottage and when i went to investigate there was almost no space to move for all the Brahmin wandering around. Its weird that the settlement's boundary size has nothing to do with settler/brahmin cap. I built a 4 story barracks for them and there is still next to no space for anything else there.

Put in a food trough and, preferably a paddock as well.

I have Brahman at all my settlements (except Hangman's).

I only say to put in the paddock 'cause, if you don't and put the trough away from the buildings, my brahmin have a tendency to try to climb staircases or float above decks. They also seem to prefer a paddock to open space. Maybe it makes them feel safe?

I also discovered that you can get more than one brahmin at a settlement. I have 4 right now at Sanctuary.
