Dear Bethesda,
Just wanted to thank you for a wonderful game. Fallout 4 has been nothing but exciting from the begining. However the workshop build your own bases thing has been less than a stellar experince so far. At least on the Playstation 4. The pipboy doesn't seem to link with the stats of each base making it look as though each base has 0 or everything or the happiness is constantly down. In addition to that the game sometimes doesn't seem to know what it wants to do as far as outposts getting raided. I stood still at Abernathy farm for 10min, and watched the base magically go from perfectly funtioning to looking as though a tornado hit the place then fix itself, and the settler never changed there routine. In addition to that I've had several instances where I will fast travel to a base, and it will look as though the base had been slaugher but I've never gotten a message about an attack, and if I do it flashes so fast if you blink you will miss it. As for the raids on the bases it seems like the game will just randomly spawn raiders inside or outside of the base, and even if you have taken the time to put walls around it the Raider, Gunners etc will just walk right through them like they don't exsist making it seem almost pointless to put any defence other than turrets up because physics doesn't seem to play into a base getting raided. It was an excellent idea that I've enjoyed for the most part, and I know its optional if you just avoid doing anything minuteman related but there are several quests that the game pretty much forces a base on you and because of the issues with the pipboy, game not recognizing the stats, and the raids being all kinds of messed up it has taken away from the real fun of the game that is exploring. I really hope that a patch will be released soon for the console versions of the game as these issues with the bases seems to be pretty constant based on the forums I've read. Thanks for a wonderful game, and I look forward to whats next for Fallout 4.
