Whatever Happened To That

Maybe I am remembering things wrong, but I remember in F3. That you could sneak around turrets and hack them if you had a high enough science skill.

Not the turrets themselves, it was still via a computer, however what has changed is that now you need to find a perk magazine if you wanna do some of the stuff you could do in FO3, like making turrets loyal to you, etc.

Yeah, I had a bout of confusion there. I swore though you could mess robots up by sneaking behind them and messing with their circuits.

With the robotics perk you could deactivate turrets in FO3

You could do that if you had the Robotics Expert perk, which still exists in 4 although I've never taken it.

You can shut down turrets from a terminal, but I think you need to find a Total Hack magazine for turrets before you can turn them against raiders and stuff.

Oh okay. Sweet sauce.

I hadn't seen it and I was very confused, almost worried they took it out. There's nothing more fun than to turn a robot into a complete and total animal slaughtering raiders by the millions
