Lured mirelurk Queen to behemoth

Post » Thu Dec 10, 2015 10:55 pm

Had fun today with my roommate luring this queen to a behemoth lol. The Queen is in the south east of the map in the marshy area and the behemoth is north of it a ways. Have to be patient to get the queen to it and be a fairly high level not to die. "Level 37 is where I am." I have the video, I'll post in comments once I can. The mirelurk queen won by a landslide though! Turned the behemoth into a pile of goop!!

It would win easily as the further from spawn you are the harder the npcs are, so if you brought one from far south up north it would wipe the floor with most anything

Wrong.. Its generally that but level 15+ enemys will spawn relative to your level.

Behemoths are easy to kill, anyway.. Mirelurk queens barely take damage due to their shell, they spawn mirelurk spawn and they have a poison attack.. Itd win if they were even levels anyway

Unless it was an ancient behemoth.
(Supermutants grow as they age).. Its freakin massive

Because theyre big, lumbersome and predictable;

Theyll throw rocks at you from a distance which you have more than enough time to dodge

And upclose theyll just try to hit you with that stupidly large fire hydrant so put simply; dont walk up to them

So long as youve got a gun with a reasonable amount of damage (preferably ballistic); its easy.. And if youve found a doorway, stay in it because they CANNOT get a single hit.
The only danger is the guns from the normal super mutants who actually follow..

More to do with skill than any actual setup, since theres more fluid movement during combat in fallout 4; wearing no armour and attempting to dodge everything is a viable option, with enough practice..

All about predictability, like.. Another example. You fear deathclaws, right?
Theyre even easier.
Stay medium distance, theyll lunge at you - all you need to do is step to the side then cripple the legs or wait till they turn around and hit their belly (their weakspot)

Sentry turrets? Have them shoot at a wall youre behind cover. Go into sneak mode and wait for their cooldown, shoot their fusion cores (you obviously have to remain stealth) and they INSTANTLY blow up

<You fear deathclaws, right?> yup ...they do rattle me up and I am not much of a 'quick and nimble' player :)

but thanks for the insight here. will definitely try those hints .

<then cripple the legs > syringer & what venom will do the trick here ? (any special chem info you can part over this) ?
