Two Steam Accounts

Post » Fri Dec 11, 2015 1:05 pm

If this isn't the right place for this post please show me where I can post this. My first steam account was hijacked while playing Skyrim so I deleted that account...or so I thought. I bought Fallout 4 about three weeks ago and started a new steam account. Now I have two accounts and neither one will load a game. I guess they get confused. I contacted steam about my problem but I can't get a human from steam to contact me to resolve this issue. They keep sending me auto responses that are of no help. If someone knows of a way to contact a human within the steam organization I would be so grateful. I really want to get started playing Fallout 4.

The game will be linked with the Steam account used during the install.

You can login to multiple accounts on your computer and it will only work on the initial account, unless you use the sharing feature.

Post a dxdiag report please

Edit: this should be moved to the hardware and software subforum.

This is more of a Steam issue than a Fallout issue, but let me just say this, from personal experience: Steam customer service are the least helpful people I've ever interacted with. As you've discovered, it's nearly impossible to get a hold of an actual human being, and when you do, nothing short of nuclear fallout (ha ha ha) will convince them to lift a finger to help you.

All I can say is good luck.

Have you tried providing a CD Key, proof of purchase or anything like that to Steam?

I have four Steam accounts, with some that I made in 2004 and some that I made in 2006.

In 2010 one of my Steam accounts got hacked, the thing is this Steam account has a activated version of the physical boxed version of the PC version of The Orange Box on it, so I took a picture of the bar code as proof of purchase then sent it to VALVe and in 2 hours VALVe got me my account back.

I have four Steam accounts one of the reasons is because I keep my video games spread out so if one Steam account gets hacked I have a backup Steam account to play the video games, though there are different video games on each of the four Steam accounts three of my Steam accounts have Counter-Strike: Global Offensive I don't even know remember why I purchased a third copy of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
